Land Corruption

poster series

This collection of eleven posters was created to raise awareness of the impact of corruption within systems of land administration and management, known as land corruption. The posters were designed for the Land and Corruption in Sub-Saharan Africa programme at the Transparency International Secretariat, and exhibited at the Global Land Forum 2018, in Indonesia.

The poster series comprised two collections: the first included short messages defining land corruption (a collection called “It is…land corruption”), and the second presented the impacts of corrupt practices on people and communities around the world (forced evictions, land grabbing, sexual violence, etc.) alongside infographics explaining the programme’s key research findings.

My work on the posters (and other promotional materials) involved all aspects of concept development, copy-writing, data visualisation, image selection and graphic design.
